You'll find a review of Graham Farish Pullman cars in our Feature Articles section from the home page. The N-gauge models were almost identical to the earlier and now rare OO models, scaled down. The standards of printing were crude and only blobs of gold were applied.
Our L12 pack gave side panels for these 2mm N scale models as names running in the Bournemouth Belle and Golden Arrow trains. Now you can have whatever names you like and transform these old models with the latest standards of printing using our custom order labels. Alter the livery style from early to late crest if you want the model to better fit the time period you've chosen to model.
The details on our labels include:
- Fine double lining and top scroll details where applicable.
- Multi-colour Pullman coats of arms, as per the real transfers, and not just a crude one-colour outline representation.
- Letter spacings for names as per real practice.
- Brake ends with "Load 11/2 Tons" for original crest liveries.
- Guard door signs for the brake end doors.
The effect is that of plated-over sides, as match-boarding at this scale would not appear to be any different - the moulded lines on the bodywork are more like scale corrugated iron roofing than fine joints between wooden planks.
We offer custom made pairs of name panels, printed on glossy film material designed to match the coach finish and colouration as closely as possible. To 2mm (N) scale, they are a precise fit for the cars.
